Main Ballet, Tap, Jazz Teacher

Ng Yun Jie
Yun Jie is the founder and director of Yunz Movement Studio, and has the vision of creating a community, with opportunities and a safe space for the discovery of ones body and mind through dance and movement.
​
Yun Jie is a passionate dance instructor with more than a decade of teaching and assisting experience in various platforms including the Ministry of Education (MOE), People's Association (PA), school enrichment programs and various other pre-schools and private dance schools.
​
She is a fully certified teacher under the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing (CSTD) in Classical Ballet and Tap Dance, the American Ballet Theatre (ABT) curriculum and Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) programme. Yun Jie has also trained in the Al Gilbert Tap Syllabus to Tap 9.
She has also performed in numerous dance genres including ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary and broadway in concerts and competition. She has continually attended dance courses and masterclasses conducted by various teachers from abroad, and believes in continual self-improvement.

Besides her qualifications in dance, Yun Jie has also attained her degree in Business Management from the University of Birmingham.
Yun Jie enjoys teaching and wishes to share her knowledge and experiences with others, and make dance more accessible to everyone of all ages and abilities.
Lead Tap Teacher
Chew Wan Ying
Wanying is a dance instructor who has qualifications in early childhood education. She has multiple experiences teaching and choreographing for students and dancers of different age groups. She also has experience in video and music editing.
She enjoys exploring the fusion of different genres’ elements in her choreography. Her strength lies in her ability to break down techniques and movements to facilitate learning by students of varying skill levels.
She has substituted kids’/adults’ classes in various studios, and choreographed for many competitions and school performances.
Her main genres are Tap, Jazz, and Contemporary. To expand her dance vocabulary and repertoire, Wanying also devoted time to explore and train in Hip Hop, Waacking, Tutting, Waving, Aerial (silks), and Pole.

Ju-Lyn
Ju-Lyn is an accomplished dancer with a decade of dedicated practice, performance, and teaching experience.
Her journey began at the young age of 19, where she discovered a passion for movement and expression. With a background in various dance styles, including contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, tap & heels, she has honed her skills to become a versatile and captivating performer and inspiring teacher.
She has pursued CSTD exams & joined various competitions as a soloist and in groups to better her craft. Her dedication to the art form is evident in her precise technique, expressive storytelling, and magnetic stage presence.
Ju-Lyn continues to inspire audiences with her passion for dance and commitment to artistic excellence.

Dayna
With a decade of dance experience under her belt, Dayna showcases versatility across various genres including Hip Hop, Jazz funk, and Jazz.
Her journey in the dance world has been marked by active participation in prestigious competitions like Super24 and Arena.
Dayna is committed to continuous self-improvement, constantly refining her skills and technique to elevate her craft. For her, dance is not just about movement but also about the harmonious connection with music.
She firmly believes that music is the soul of dance, and the essence of dancing lies in the sheer joy and fun it brings when synchronized with music.

Tamaara
Currently studying at LASALLE College of The Arts, Diploma in Music, Tamaara is a consummate performer of the arts since the age of 5. She epitomises the triple-threat performer and is adept at singing, dance and drama.
She has consistently pursued CSTD, ABRSM, LAMDA, LCM exams to better her craft. After years of dedicated training and experience, she graced stages worldwide, both performing and competing.
Tamaara specializes in Hip Hop, Modern Jazz, Street Jazz, and Jazz Funk, aiming to provide students with a comprehensive and engaging learning environment. Her expertise shines through in her dedication to nurturing aspiring talents of all ages and skill levels.
Lead Ballet Teacher
Chze Siang
Mr Chze Siang has almost a decade of experience teaching, and is very well experienced in stage and performance since a young age.
He is a gold honor award receiver for his performances in NDP and SYF in the years 1997 and 1999. He was also selected to represent Singapore in the North Korean Cultural Exchange Program.
He received guidance from the late Mr Donato C. Ferrer, a founding member of the Singapore Ballet, and attained Distinction for Intermediate exams under the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Syllabi.
He has been a choreographer for SYF with consistent Distinction awards, since 2011, for both primary and secondary schools.
Chze Siang has a big heart and passion for adult classes.
